The “I” and the “Myself”
Constant thinking can encapsulate any of us with relentless distractions, incessant worries, and a perpetual pursuit of the future. At times, one might consider the following idea: “I am not happy with myself”. Are there two of me? The “I” and the “self” that we are not happy with. Perhaps only one is real.
The ego is the false sense of self, the identification with the mind and the accumulation of past experiences. It thrives on attachment to thoughts, beliefs, and external things, creating a constant cycle of desires, fears, and judgments. The power of now is a potent force that beckons us to step out of the shadows of the past and the illusions of the future, inviting us to live fully in the present
The present moment is a sacred space; it is the only moment that truly exists. The past has slipped away, and the future remains an enigma, yet we often fail to recognize the profound significance of the now. When we learn to embrace the present, we unlock a gateway to untapped bliss, clarity, and authenticity.
